To obtain a SOC 2, businesses need to establish a strong information security program and complete an audit with an independent, AICPA-affiliated certified public accounting firm. The audit reviews and tests the related program controls to the relevant standard and results in a report with findings.
In May 2023, we received our audit report from an independent, AICPA-affiliated certified public accounting firm attesting to our Priority Engine application’s SOC 2 compliance. This report demonstrates that we have designed, implemented, and independently tested our Priority Engine application’s information security controls so that our B2B enterprise technology customers can be confident that their data remains secure when using those services.
Specifically, our Priority Engine offering meets the stringent requirements provided in the AICPA Trust Services Criteria with regards to data for the following control areas:
- Security: TechTarget’s Priority Engine System controls focus on the overall protection of all key data assets and systems.
- Availability: TechTarget’s Priority Engine System controls focus on ensuring reliable access to information and/or data by authorized individuals.
- Confidentiality: TechTarget’s Priority Engine System controls focus on the protection of information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure.
